Born from our California roots and a shared love of craftsmanship, we’re two sisters creating handcrafted hats that bring your personal style to life — and inspire your next adventure.

Our journey began with a deep appreciation for the art of custom hat making, which led us to Albuquerque, where we trained in traditional techniques under world-renowned hat maker Tom Hirt. Brimroad was born from that experience — to share the joy of custom hat making, sustainability, and effortless California style. Each hat is handcrafted from sustainable, reclaimed fur felt, then customized with unique details — like hand-dyed silk bands and antique hat pins. 

Our goal is simple: to create a hat that feels uniquely yours and ready for wherever the road leads next. "For all the Adventures I have Not Seen."
